Christopher Wagobera holds a; Post graduate diploma project planning and management (UMI), bachelor of Medicine and bachelor of Surgery (KIU), and currently a resident of International Public health with University of Liverpool John Moore. Has for the past 5 years worked with Ministry of Health as Medical Officer at Kabale and Jinja Regional referral hospital. He has vast experience in; response planning and management of Infectious disease outbreaks at National and Sub-national levels (covid-19, VHFs, Mpox, etc), HIV-TB and Maternal Neonatal and Child health programming (worked as Project coordinator for USAID- G2G Kabale Regional hospital Health strengthening Activity for 2 years). Christopher is an advocate and a champion for Anti-microbial stewardship – AMS (Vice chair AMS committee Kabale Regional Hospital).
He is an active clinician, clinical research enthusiast and an advocate for climate change programming and integration with other Public health interventions.
